After a long period of time, you might have these following syndromes, like your immunity against disease will become worse, and it may have influence on the development of your body, furthermore, our brain will also be influenced. Some children developed this bad habit since they were very young. I know there are some people do not eat vegetables. They love to eat meat only. People must know it is bad to have meat only, but they just don’t like it, so they don’t eat vegetables even a little.
According to the investigation of Department of Health, there is 98% of young people drink less than 2 cups of milk, 82% of them don’t eat enough vegetables, 65% of them have sugared-drinks, 53% of them don’t have breakfast, lunch or dinner, they have snacks instead. These figures show that nowadays young people’s everyday diet is not healthy. I think that each one of you must have learned the guide of balanced food that published by Bureau of Health Promotion, Department of Health. These foods are divided into six categories, like rice and noodles, milk and eggs, beans, fish, and meat, vegetables, fruit, and fat as shown on screen.
The reason why I am here to tell you the advantages of balanced food is that it is really bad for you to have a partiality for a particular kind of food. As what I said, do not eat only meat or vegetable. You should have a balanced diet. Many people may ask what a balanced diet is. Now, I am going to tell you.
It is hard to measure that how much is enough for an adult in a day. So, I prepared some figures for you to have better understanding. The suggestion from Bureau of Health Promotion, Department of Health that the quantity of an adult should eat everyday is shown on the screen, for example 1-2 cups of milk, 3-6 bowls of rice, one egg and so on. Thus, we will acquire the carbohydrate, fat, protein, vitamin and mineral substances to maintain our life. Our everyday energy comes from the calorie out of carbohydrate and fat. Protein is the necessity of body growth. So far I’ve talked about what balanced diet food is. And skipping meals is also usual for modern people. Did you have your breakfast this morning? Or you are that kind of girl who wants to have perfect figure skipping 3 meals a day, just have some yogurt and apples? Let me tell you that this is really a harmful way to lose your weight. Although many girls want to be slim, this is a totally wrong way to be slim. The correct one is to have, of course, a balanced diet and do some exercise.
